Brooke Wade had a plan when she founded Wynn Management Services in 2011.

Since Brooke was 16 years old, she knew she wanted to work in property management. Today, Brooke is the successful founder of both Wynn Management Services and Wade House Realty, with her husband, Heys Wade.

People who know Brooke know she doesn't wait around for things to happen—she identifies the things she wants to happen and then makes sure that they do.

At age 17, while still in high school, Brooke managed a 235-door apartment complex. As she completed her degree in marketing management from Athens Technical College, one of her last assignments was to write a business plan. She knew instantly she'd write about starting her own property management firm. Little did she know that business plan would one day help launch her career.

After college, Brooke moved back home to Colbert, GA, where she signed on to help the same property management company she had spent her high school summers with. But this time, she wasn't working for extra money in her pocketbook; she was working for her 1-year-old daughter as well.

As fate had it, the day after Brooke left the property management company she had worked for since she was a teen, the manager of a 61-door apartment complex in Athens, GA, called to ask if she'd be interested in interviewing for a property manager role that had just opened up. Scarborough Place needed someone with drive and experience to step in immediately, and they asked her to bring a business plan if she was serious about the opportunity

With her hastily revised college business plan in hand, Brooke headed to Athens and not only landed the job; she successfully negotiated free rent for herself and her daughter as part of her compensation package as well. Though it's been awhile since Brooke called Scarborough Place home, she continues to manage the complex and keep an office there today.

In 2007, Brooke got her real estate license, and by 2009 she was focused full-time on property management and real estate sales.

She started Wynn Management Services in 2011 and became a licensed broker in 2015. Today Wynn Management Services oversees more than 300 properties and numerous high-end homeowners associations in the Athens-Clarke County area. Some properties are even set up for the ultimate Bulldog fans who need a year-round home base for the Dawgs' biggest events. The Wynn Management team has grown from the 1.5-person show it started as to a full team, including her husband, Heys, plus a full-time property manager and an association manager.

Wynn Management Services has succeeded through hard work and word-of-mouth referrals, alongside Brooke's and Heys's sister company, Wade House Realty.
